Description
This cost includes CPSAC membership fees and certification (for 3 years), insurance (when you work as a volunteer) and all course materials including your course manual and clinic supplies.
In this course you will learn about the mechanics of a collision, the legislation governing child restraints and the different stages of child restraint systems and how they work. The course will include hands-on practice so that you will feel comfortable with different methods of installation and guidance on how to help parents and caregivers select and use car seats and booster seats correctly.
A community car seat check event will run on Sunday afternoon.

Refund Policy:
Payment is due in full to secure a place in the course. No refunds will be given unless the instructors cancel (eg. family emergency, insufficient enrollment, etc.), or if a replacement can be found before the start of the course.
COVID-19:
In accordance to public health guidelines, daily health screens are mandatory to attend the course. Masks will be utilized both during the inside and outside portions of the course in conjunction with additional hand hygiene.
Due to provincial mandate, proof of two valid COVID-19 vaccinations will be required of all attendees.
